The president, Mr. Gilles Tardif first entered the automobile stripping industry in 1978 under the name Décor Auto Gilles Tardif inc. A pioneer in the field, he rapidly made his mark throughout the greater Montreal region as well as the whole of Quebec. He is also quickly noticed by his American suppliers and, in 1982, becomes the first in the province of Quebec to acquire a tool that would soon revolutionize the world of lettering : the first computer generated cutter for adhesive vinyl.
In 1987, to respond to an ever growing demand, Décor Auto Gilles Tardif inc., becomes Lettram Design Plus. Over the years, Lettram Design Plus managed to bring new technologies to the public, such as four colour digital printing methods, logo preparations, three dimensional signs and lettering.
